At Natural Running Coach our principles are simple. We want you to run better. Whether this is running faster, further, reduce injuries or simple to bring the enjoyment back.
The natural running method helps you work with your body. Using the bodies in-built elasticity and recoil system and gravity to move you forward with a relaxed and free flowing movement. Natural Running mimics the balanced, efficient Barefoot running style that we are all born with. However, recognizes that most of us live in a man made world with hard man made surfaces and the need to protect your feet from this harsh environment.
By running naturally and relaxed some of the factors that cause most running injuries are reduced. Whilst we cannot and do not claim, it is an injury free method, studies have shown that barefoot and natural running do reduce the risk of injury.
Natural running also can reduce the amount of energy you use as each stride because more efficient. This should allow you to run further or faster than before. This, coupled with a possible reduction in injury, will enable you to increase the effort and amount of training you can do, and it is this that will ultimatley improve your performance.
